We came together in 2015 after experiencing a lack of community support for families & womb health. Since then we’ve humbly led the effort in Phoenix to bring Indigenous families together to share knowledge, wisdom, and provide care for those in need.
2017
In 2017, we held our very first strategic planning meeting where we dreamt up and wrote up ideas to support birth work and womb health.
2019
In 2019 we held our second strategic planning meeting where we developed our core values as a growing collective.
2020
In 2020 we went to the sacred pyramids in Teotihuacan where we were not only given permiso by the elders and guardians of the temples, but encouraged to do the work we’ve been doing more publicly.
2022
In 2022 we moved into the building next to the Sagrado Galleria in South Phoenix.
2023
In 2023 our team grew to a staff of 10 to help consistently support the work of the collective.
